Happy Lurker Day!!! For the Lurkers, a Quick Meme!

The smaller one has taken to stalking Sean and squeaking at him when he doesn't pay attention to him. Which is cute beyond words, seeing as he's half the size of Sean's foot. He also takes naps on Sean's shoulder. Which I do not have photos of, as I value my life.

Unfortunately, I'm either allergic to the kittens, or allergic to something on them, which is why I can't breathe. Doubled up on the histamines, it's helping, save for the coughing fits.

ickaimp because mischif was taken by someone who has never posted. I've been an 'Imp' much longer than I've been a 'Squid', so we combined 'Icka!' --the second half of my given name-- with 'Imp' to create a unique username.
Given a choice however, I prefer to play towards the 'Ms. Chif' pun of my name.

2. My name is _____ because ______.
'Jess***' because my biological mother thought it sounded 'Exotic'. While I'm not overly fond of my full first name, it is better than her other two favourite choices, 'Broomhilda' and 'Rachel Rose'. True story.

3. My journal is titled ____ because ____.
'The Mis-Adventures of Crazy Auntie Icka!' because it is. I travel fairly frequently and this blog is how I keep track of people and people can keep track of me. And adventures rarely go the way they're supposed to.
'Crazy Auntie Icka!' was a joking poke towards myself, once I realised that I'm old by anime fandom standards. The older I get, the funnier and truer it is.

4. My journal subtitle is ____ because ____.
'Not One Shred Of Evidence Exists To Support The Notion That Life Is Serious.' because it is totally true. It's a bumper sticker put on Zechs' Tallgeese in chapter two of Mel and Christy's GW fic 'Reunion', which is always a FABULOUS read.
The original quote is by Brendan Gill, 'Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.'

5. My friends page is called ____ because ____.
'Life size models of Cthulhu, on sale now!' because I liked the sound of it. It was found on a Discordian Quote Page. HAIL ERIS!

6. My default userpic is ____ because ____.
'怪盗キッド Stole My Icon' because the idea of the Kaitou Kid Stealing My Icon amused me (even if he didn't send a heist notice). It's my default icon -everywhere-, although with as often as it's been stolen, am often tempted to change it to '怪盗キッド Stole Icka!'s Icon'.
There's a couple of other versions of 'Kaitou Kid Stole My Icon' icons out there, but I can gleefully say that mine was the first. #^^#
