Actually have about 12 pages to be scanned, cleaned up, etc. We scanned a bunch, saved the ones that didn't need massive clean up and will do the rest later. @_@;;

Oh. I need a new sketchbook. Took two months to finish this one off. @_@;; Used to take closer to six months or a year. Weird, huh?

So last night, I streached out on the floor to work on a sketch, as is my usual wont, and Train decided that this was a lovely idea and decided to curl up for a nap.
On my back.
Which seemed like a good idea all around and I decided to take one too, much to David's concernment, as dinner was ready. But when you're comfortable and there's a cat asleep on your back and purring in your ear, what are you gonna do? ^_____^

Oh, it turns out the little white and ginger kitty has an owner and a name. Houdini. ^^; Appropriate.

If we're gonna be doing just random short stuff, should really download the latest Black Cat anime episodes (OMG! Sven in DRAG! XD) and do ficcage for that. Or work on TGZ.
Unfortunately, the Voices are currently stuck on YGO. ~_~ Which sucks, because we can't find any of the early manga chapters scanlated for us to verify stuff with. >P

And since we won't be posting for a day or two, something to entertain y'all.

This snippet is actually something like 6 or 7 scenes down the road, but it jumped us while we had the 'puter and enough brain cells handy to make some sort of sense.

If people could point us in the direction of scanlations/good YGO fanficcage, would be grateful. They don't have YGO down here for me to point and laugh at. ^^;

... dude. Yu-Gi-Oh! so addictive. Even sucky dub. Kinda like a soap opera/train wreck. You know it's bad but you just can't stop giggling and look away.

Okay, anyway... here's where the fic gets weird. Some scenes have been re-written (again. Still not happy with the Yuugi-sleepover chapter) so re-posting the entire thing. Jeez. Is over 13,000 words now... @_@;;
References to the 'Tremors' TV series from the Sci-Fi channel, (yeah, based off those Graboid movies) a damn funny show. Highly recommend it to those who haven't seen it.

Okay! Some notes, cause we actually have notes to do now. ^^;;
First off, this story is a bit more perverted than our usual fare. Why? Primarily because we don't care. We've been snickering over the leather, the chains, the bondage outfits and the duellists staring at each other's asses since we first saw the show in Japan, September 2000. (Duellist Kingdom arc, natch.) At this point we've been snickering over it for so long we've long stopped censoring ourselves. It's still pretty clean though.

Some facts may be slightly screwed, my apologies. We've been collecting the manga and watching HKs of the anime looooong before it got dubbed, so occasionally our memories are a little fuzzy on which stuff is manga-only, which is anime-only and what happens when. The dubs don't help much either.

A few scenes have been rewritten after rereading the end of the manga and checking out summaries of Yu-Gi-Oh XG (Yu-Gi-Oh Next Generation, takes place 10 years after the end of Yu-Gi-Oh, anime currently out in Japan). Some things are kinda heading in a different direction too, which is kinda cool.

Whooo! Looked up bus sceduales, and if I take a different bus to catch either the #1 or #2, I can hopefully catch the train that leaves Union Station at 5:40, getting to Lancastor at 7:30 instead of the usual 8:30. ^^;; *flashes victory sign* The ATM at the Mitsuwa was broken, so didn't grab anything for supper, or pick up extra cash, so will hafta do that when we get to 'Neechan's, if that's okay.

Dude, my duffel is seriously full... almost need to expand it. Scary part is that most of it is anime and pocky. So glad I picked it up in Japan. Really glad it has wheels!

Speaking of Japan, the weather is seriously reminding me of Typhoon season in Japan. Hot, damp and raining a bit. Fan in one hand, umbrella in the other and a 'kerchif to wipe off the sweat.
The raining bit is noteworthy in and of itself. Rainy season has passed for So Cal. Actually enjoying the weather, the time and temp may say that it's 27+c/90+F, but it feels cool to me while bike riding. (is when you stop riding that it hits)

And more of the Yu-Gi-Oh fic, which is turning out to be a 'we have no inspration but feel like writing' fic. Which is fine, we've had the mental pics for so long it doesn't take much to get it out. S'almost all Jounouchi and Kaiba pov anyway.

"Man..." Honda grumbled to Jounouchi as they watched the duelists fight. "Yuugi's got a yami, Bakura's got a yami, Malik’s got a psycho yami, Mai might as well be a yami, it’s like EVERYBODY has a yami except for you and me!"

"I don't know what you're talkin' about." Jounouchi shrugged easily. "I've got a yami too, y’know."

The pointy haired teen's jaw dropped as he looked around. "You do?! Where?! How come you never told me!?"

The blond casually motioned behind them to where Kaiba was glowering. "Him."

Honda facefaulted as Kaiba raised an eyebrow and sweatdropped in response.
