ickaimpGuess What?
We're Moving. Again.
Just three blocks south from our current residence. This place is great (spiral staircase!) but it's kinda small now that we have lots of Faire gear and there's NO insulation in it.
Guess what? Winter's coming up. We're both Desert Rats.
So, found a place, moving there Tuesday.
This may mean we disappear for a while again while the phone transfers over.

He didn't need to look to see the looks the Mutt was giving him all day. Mutou had been strangely distant as well, despite the fact that he was the celebrity of the day, having managed to escape Kaitou Ryuu and keep his treasured golden puzzle.
Not if he had his way. When Kaiba Seto set his mind to something, -nothing- was going to stop him.
Certainly not the Pharaoh.
Bakura approached him, the only thing signalling his approach was a slight movement out of the corner of Seto's eye.
"So I hear you over played your hand." Bakura's voice was a breathy hiss. "Blondie was able to shake your power off."
He glared at the Tomb Robber who was currently in charge of the pale haired boy's body. Bakura had given him the Ring, but maintained contact with cursed item. Or vice versa. He wasn't quite sure which and honestly didn't care. "The Pharaoh helped him."
"The Pharaoh is a bloody pest." Bakura growled.
"Yes." He agreed. Although sometimes he wondered just who was going to be the bigger pest in the long run... the Tomb Robber or the Pharaoh.
Although he had to admit that the Tomb Robber had his uses. He wouldn't have gotten his hands on the Sennen Eye from Pegasus else-wise.
But it didn't erase the fact that he had failed... The goal had been to prevent the Pharaoh's reappearance at all. Instead he'd discovered the last piece too late, the one that happened too contain the Pharaoh's spirit.
Now he had two missions to carry out. Prevent the Pharaoh from getting the other six pieces which were currently in his collection, and get the seventh piece away from the Pharaoh.
Avoiding an end of the world depended on his ability to do so.
After all, there was more than one end to the world. He kept an eye on some of the more obvious ones through Kaiba Corp. After all, if the world died, where would Mokuba live?
Bakura draped an arm over his shoulder, leaning over him. "You're going to have to do something about the Puppy too." The pale boy's face was friendly, except for the malice glittering in his eyes. "He's going to suspect you now."
Seto shrugged the arm off. "I can deal with the Mediocracy."
"I'm -sure-." Bakura leered, his head almost close enough to lick Seto's ear. He knew this because Bakura had once.
It seemed that Bakura had a fetish for licking things that were better off unlicked.
He glared at the Tomb Robber, silently promising to cut Bakura's tongue out at his soonest convenience. "Do you have something useful to add, or are you just here to mock?"
"Mock, mostly." Bakura agreed easily, straightening. "But if you're not going to be any fun, I'll take my charming self elsewhere."
"Please do." Seto requested in his iciest tone. Bakura just smirked and stalked off, radiating smugness. Seto watched him go.
As he turned his attention back towards his desk and the insane schoolwork that rested upon it, he realised that the wanna-be blond detective was watching him. And probably had been watching them throughout the entire exchange. He narrowed his eyes slightly at the blond, noticing the Pharaoh's vessel look at him nervously.
He purposely turned, looking past him and back at the papers on his desk.
The Tomb Robber was right. He was going to have to do something about the Pharaoh's Guard Dog before before he became more of a nuisance than he already was.
