Trip to LA to visit folks has been cancelled, have until after the 4th of July weekend off, then it looks like Lousiana is the next destination for work. Never been to the South before, it'll be interesting. ^^;;
Yeah, but no one in Dallas or Houston have any accents, wasn't any different than New Mexico. Where as with Baton Rouge I'm getting cultural heads up. @_@
Well, the big cities in the South generally don't have accents. However, if you'd had the opportunity to venture further West (say, El Paso or Lubbock) you'd have heard that quintessential accent. :D
That said, you'd really have very little reason to venture to those place.
Been to El Paso, it even my friends who have been there for over a decade didn't have the quintasential accent. -It might just be the company I'm keeping. ^^;;
