Back! To Tucson!

Trip to LA to visit folks has been cancelled, have until after the 4th of July weekend off, then it looks like Lousiana is the next destination for work. Never been to the South before, it'll be interesting. ^^;;

Yeah, but no one in Dallas or Houston have any accents, wasn't any different than New Mexico.
Where as with Baton Rouge I'm getting cultural heads up. @_@

Well, the big cities in the South generally don't have accents. However, if you'd had the opportunity to venture further West (say, El Paso or Lubbock) you'd have heard that quintessential accent. :D

That said, you'd really have very little reason to venture to those place.

Been to El Paso, it even my friends who have been there for over a decade didn't have the quintasential accent.
-It might just be the company I'm keeping. ^^;;

Clearly you keep runnin' into us ~cultured folk~ sans the accent. That's all right. You'll hear proper Texas voice sooner 'r later. :D

*grins* I have family there... its uh... interesting *snickers* And Yes... Dallas is south...'course I will say Dallas doesn't really count-- neither does Austin... Not like Lousiana (Get you a poboy and jumbalya, and gumbo and most importantly some o'dat boudin ^_^ *coughs...not that I like jumbalaya and gumbo... but most people do... XD poboys, muffaletta's, and boudin on the other hand are fine dining ^_^*)

-.- You have water coming out of fountains in Tuscan.... I'm jealous... I think they've perpetually shut ours off due to the heat--

Have gotten warnings about the area being...uh... 'self-segregating' was the term used.
Just got confirmed that I'm going to Baton Rouge first, then... 'Shreeport'? Need to check the spelling on that.

*giggles* That's Shreveport XD It's in the North Louisiana bit...Baton Rouge isn't though... it's south ish right along ten. It'll definitely be interesting ^_^ (And you'll get to the swamps and bayous at least a little ^_^)
