Voices were batting around an idea *and here's the pitch!* *crack!* *ball goes sailing* ::CRASH!:: "dude, you're not SUPPOSED ta hit the scoreboard..." *points* "they did it" "cha. right." about the Conan Dub by Funi.

What if they gave Heiji a Spanish Accent? o_O

And would someone PLEASE tell the Plunnies that we are not going to write a FAKE drabble? Nah-uh, no way, nope.

*sighs* FAKE so addicting. S'not fair. ¬_¬

The idea came from the Shaman King dub, where they renamed 'Ryuu' as 'Rio' and turned him into a flaming latin lover.

Darkish skin, black hair, hello Heiji. >_<

Brooklyn accent might be a bit more acceptable, IMHO. Goes with the baseball cap for some reason.
Deep south? *cringes*
But I'm really really hoping they don't pull what they did with Watari and go for an English Accent.

Hakuba: You sound just like me!
Heiji: Nah. You still sound like you have a stick up yer butt.

Yes, Dubs are scary.
Course, I'm still holding on to hope that they make Conan -sound- like a little kid.

In Taiwan the voice of Shinichi is made by two people-- when he's thinking, it's dubbed by the voice actor of Shinichi, when he spoke, the "normal" voice actor for Conan is used...

Don't really know if it's a good idea; Conan and Shinichi are not identical people...
