Speaking of which, Jounouchi needs a fighting sensei for Guard Dog. Anyone have any suggestions?

Um... just not Saotome Genma... Jou would probably end up with dog attributes a little bit earlier in the fic if that happened... ^^;;

[EDIT: My day is made when I have four people in the chatroom all reading the the same damn fic and gigglingly manically. Ha. ^___^ ]

Wait...Lessee, you probably wouldn't use a Kenshin character, and his life would be straightened up pre-duelling if he had Kenshin's shishou. Ya think Duo Maxwell would make a good teacher? Probably not...

...And a really stupid idea just hit for me to write, with Card Captor Sakura characters in the YGO 'verse. Like, if, all the Clow stuff happened pre-Yuugi's grandfather finding the puzzle and yeah. But ignoring the really dumb plunnie, I do think Touya from CCS *might* become, like, a teacher, and he'd probably either hate Jou or be sort of buddies with him. Likely the former, but I always for some reason figured at least two of the CCS characters would grow up to be teachers. Go figure.

Mwuaahhahahaa. Gordian Knot (http://impfics.livejournal.com/29140.html) pt 2 is approaching half done. >D That's one of my favourite lines, had it in my head since we started plotting out the fic.

"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not the Kid?!" Kaito asked, voice and posture exasperated. He was somewhere in the hundreds, surely. If not the thousands.

"If you're not the Kaitou Kid," Hakuba said slowly. "Why are you not alarmed by the tendril around your ankle?"

Kaito glanced down at the friendly tentacle wrapped around his ankle and privately acknowledged that Hakuba might have a point. Hello, little tentacley friend. It waved back. How cute.

Kenshin's kinda a hundred years too old too.

Duo would probably make a very good teacher, if a bit unethical about his teaching style, but I'd worry that their personalities would be a bit too similar and *BOOOM*.

Was discussing Genkai from Yu*Yu*Hakusho, but one of the first big fight arcs in the series was the fight to become her student, so that's out. And she kinda not really dead.

Yuusake was a possibility too, but he's running a ramen shop.

What about Gai Maito from Naruto? Sure he's got a Horrible fashion sense, but at least he's honest and he enjoys teaching...But Joey might have to put up with Lee, if this is before the time skip...

Because I kind of think he might get along well with Tarma of Mercedes Lackey's 'Vows and Honour' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes_Lackey#Vows_and_Honor) books.

(Quick synop: Nomadic culture based heavily on Bedouins, worships a fourfold goddess, allows members to become really, really good warriors if they swear themselves completely to the goddess. Once they do so, they get training from previous warriors, alive AND dead, and a connection with the goddess, who WILL appear to them and say, "Hey, kid, problem over here, go fix it" which doesn't stop, even after they die. So if you're looking for an undead martial arts trainer, the goddess could send Tarma to Jou - with or without Tarma's approval and/or consent.)

Two words, Jackie Chan. Pick your version of him. I'm kind of fond of the cartoon. It was silly and goofy but oh so much fun. And he'd be able to accept the whole "tail and ears" thing, 'specially considering what he's seen.
