Failing that, about the only thing that -is- known about the Giant Squid's reproduction cycles is that the male has a 3 foot long penis.

I like my tentacles, I like my squid, that doesn't nessacarily mean like that guy does. @_@.

Hmmm... squid butts.... Okay, working this out logically: the digestive track on your average critter is usually placed to exit as far from the mouth as possible. Soooooo... if the beak's at the center of where the tentacles meet, maybe that'd put the butt at the pointy bit on the squid, way up at the top? So this means that they swim through the water ass-first?

...and why am I speculating on this at lunchtime? **looks suspiciously at peanutbutter sandwich (lunch)**
