Hmmm... squid butts.... Okay, working this out logically: the digestive track on your average critter is usually placed to exit as far from the mouth as possible. Soooooo... if the beak's at the center of where the tentacles meet, maybe that'd put the butt at the pointy bit on the squid, way up at the top? So this means that they swim through the water ass-first?
