Aunty Icka Ramble
Dec. 1st, 2005 03:28 pmFor the past two Christmas seasons, there have been two things we have done that hadn't been a part of our holiday traditons before.
One: Had the song "Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, but I think I'll miss this one this year." Stuck in our heads on pretty much an endless loop for the whole month.
Two: Drawn themed nekkid anime characters. Last year was hats, the year before that was ribbons.
I am hoping that this year, we can avoid both. Because once is an accident, twice is a coincidence and three times something is out to get you, or it has become a holiday tradition.
And that's just scary. Besides, what would decorate people with? Wreaths?!
And in other news, I now have a viking dress. The outer dress at least. We have a SCA feast on Saterday to attend. ^__^
However, since I don't have broaches to hold the dress up, (no, will not use the giant metal bowls, I don't care how well they'd fit) will probably use the 'YES! These Are Real.' and 'My Corn has Tentacles' (thanks, po'e!) pins to hold the dress up. And to hear the shrieks of 'But those aren't period!!!
They may not be period, but they are damn amusing. ^___^
And simply cannot get over just how much faster it is to make garb on a sewing machine than by hand. o_o

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -good or bad- BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.
When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

Date: 2005-12-01 02:49 am (UTC)The most fun image I remember of you has to be that one night during Y-Con when we and a bunch of our friends decided to go on a random outing to a gay bar and you dressed as a very convincing (and beauteous, hot, sexy, majestic, etc.) BDSM dominatrix (with horns) and herded a bunch of your guy friends (some of which were in the Auction) around with the got-yaoi? bat and toy duckies ♥

Date: 2005-12-01 03:11 am (UTC)Points for the BDSM dominatrix part! *howls with laughter* XD XD XD
BTW, speaking of Y-con, blaming you partly for the YGO fic. If you and Ryuutchi hadn't randomly come up and asked if I was gonna work on it at last year's Y-con, prolly wouldn't still be working on it.
((Huggles Tdei)) Thank you.

Date: 2005-12-01 04:43 am (UTC)It's true I hung out with you at YCon that one time and I know some of your buds were in the Auction, but~~
I was mostly haggard on that trip, so I didn't go on any outings while I was there. ^^; Too bad, I wished I got to look around SF... I have never set foot in a gay bar (but hope to sometime). I haven't actually mingled that much, so I haven't hung with you while you were entertaining a bunch of your friends. That would be fun though, if some of the ones I know through reputation/online where there too.
:D! You would make a truly gorgeous and stunning dom. ;D ::kisses the knuckles of your hand::
:D!! Ooo, I get to be blamed for a plunnie, omg, yay!! *^^* ::poings:: Saw the new cont. part today too and I luuuuffle it. *^^* ::hug!:: Gogogo! Send my squishy love to Mati for encouraging you on more. >D
::GLOMPS:: Thanks? :O (For what?) You're welcome? XD Thank you! You're awesome! *^^* ♥♥♥

Date: 2005-12-01 03:06 am (UTC)Well, remember that one time back in junior high when we were debating with each other who is the sexier detective: Shinichi or Heiji? Yeah. And then you got all pissed off and screamed "SAGURU!!!" And a bunch of people stared at you funny, then you got all upset and went home and wrote a bunch of crack fics about Hakuba taking over the world and making Shinich and Heiji his minions and all that. Where was Kid? I don't know, but I guess you locked him up in a cupboard somewhere and made him the official sex slave or something. Yeah.
...okay, I feel lame now = =.

Date: 2005-12-01 03:15 am (UTC)You mean that didn't happen?
Hakuba taking over the world and locked Kid up in a cupboard somewhere and made him the official sex slave or something. Yeah.
*blinks*
Um... actually, half tempted to write that now... ^____^
*cackles manically*

Date: 2005-12-01 06:29 am (UTC)"Oh?" Kuroba wasn't sure if he yell and run in a panic or not. Hakuba usually wasn't one for randomly draping himself across people's shoulders. "Decided what?"
"That I can't let Koizumi take over the world." The really scary part was that the detective sounded completely rational about it. "I'm going to have to do it before she does."
"Take over the world?"
"Yes." The blond nodded.
"And... you want me to help you?" Kuroba ventured. Hakuba was still draped over him, so it seemed like the logical conclusion.
"Actually, I need to make sure that Koizumi can't get her hands on you." Hakuba assured him. "So therefore I was thinking locking you in a cupboard where she can't reach you and using you as a sex slave when the whim takes me."
"...." Kuroba thought it over. Yet again, the detective sounded completely sane. "Do I get a uniform?"
"Do you want a uniform?" Hakuba questioned, only slightly surprised. "You could wear your Kid suit. Does that count as a uniform."
"I suppose it does." Kuroba admitted. "All right then."
"Excellent. Do you mind if I ravish you now?"
"And then take over the world?"
Hakuba shrugged. "Or we could do that first. Your call."
"Ravishing now is fine." Kuroba assured him. "Shall we?"
"All right then."
And so they did.

Date: 2005-12-01 03:39 pm (UTC)THANK you! Hey, do you suppose Hakuba'd hire on an Equal Opportunity basis, once he gets set up ruling the world and all?

Date: 2005-12-01 05:23 am (UTC)A memory, huh? Hey Icka, do you remember that time I found that baby gila monster when we went hiking down on the San Pedro and I took it home to raise? Cute little bugger; I named it Pepe Le Pew, remember? Wish you could see Pepe now-- I didn't know gila monsters GOT that big! But I had to move him out onto the back porch; he was scaring the cats. Had to get a bigger cage too, one with a lot of room, since the critter started growing those wings I told you about last week. Are gila monsters supposed to be able to fly? And the fire breathing, what's up with that? **headscratch**

Date: 2005-12-01 05:55 am (UTC)And then your inspiration for that epic deserted you just after that dreadful cliffhanger right when Edogawa Ann-chan had realized that Heiko's kidnapping was bait in a trap just too late to keep Toyama Kazuma and Mouri Shirato from charging into it after her, so you started writing One Piece/Naruto crossover drabbles instead.
(And aren't sewing machines WONDERFUL? Every household should have one.)
