Currently highly annoyed with 'Auntie Kitty' because she decided that hey! She wants to sneak in bits of french into her language.
So she's just being annoying in general. *grumps at Chat Noir* If it's wrong, lemme know.
Why no, we have no control over the characters or story, what gave you the impression that we did? >P

"Konichiwa, Chat Noir-san."

"Ah, le petit Heisei Lupin. To what do I owe the honour of this call?"

"Nothing terrible. While I heard that you had retired from active duty, I wanted to make sure I was not stepping on any toes if I happened to be in the area. Professional courtesy and all that."

"Funny, I had heard that you had retired as well."

"Not so much retired as stepping back for a while."

"Japan too hot for you?"

"Something along those lines."

"Ah. Yes, I had heard some rumours along those lines."

"Mm."

"But as for stepping on toes, non. As you said, I am retired. However, I do keep my ear to the ground. Perhaps you might be interested in scaring some enfant terrible?"

"Oh? What kind of infants?"

"Only the worst kind. I'm afraid I must run at the moment however, business calls. Might I reach you at this number to discuss details later?"

"It is your phone."

"You held on to it? I'm surprised. I'll talk to you later tonight then. Perhaps you can bring your... dear -friend- Kaito Kuroba for a visit, oui?"

"Perhaps. Until tonight, my dear."

"Flattery will get you everywhere, garçon. Until then. A bientot."

*click*

"Whew."

"Everything alright, Kuroba?"

"Just fine, Hakuba."

"If you say so. You don't get that panicked expression often."

"Just talking to an old acquaintance."

"Ah."

"Hey, Hakuba?"

"Yeah?"

"How do you fancy a trip to Paris?"

lessee.... she called him an amateur... but mostly it seems she just stuck to the normal 'Kid' or 'Kid the Phantom Thief' and such.

Hmm... All things considered, I don't think she can call him an Amateur anymore... he out foxed her. ^__^
