Currently highly annoyed with 'Auntie Kitty' because she decided that hey! She wants to sneak in bits of french into her language.
So she's just being annoying in general. *grumps at Chat Noir* If it's wrong, lemme know.
Why no, we have no control over the characters or story, what gave you the impression that we did? >P

"Nothing terrible. While I heard that you had retired from active duty, I wanted to make sure I was not stepping on any toes if I happened to be in the area. Professional courtesy and all that."

"Funny, I had heard that you had retired as well."

"Not so much retired as stepping back for a while."

"Japan too hot for you?"

"Something along those lines."

"Ah. Yes, I had heard some rumours along those lines."

"Mm."

"But as for stepping on toes, non. As you said, I am retired. However, I do keep my ear to the ground. Perhaps you might be interested in scaring some enfant terrible?"

"Oh? What kind of infants?"

"Only the worst kind. I'm afraid I must run at the moment however, business calls. Might I reach you at this number to discuss details later?"

"It is your phone."

"You held on to it? I'm surprised. I'll talk to you later tonight then. Perhaps you can bring your... dear -friend- Kaito Kuroba for a visit, oui?"

"Perhaps. Until tonight, my dear."

"Flattery will get you everywhere, garçon. Until then. A bientot."

*click*

"Whew."

"Everything alright, Kuroba?"

"Just fine, Hakuba."

"If you say so. You don't get that panicked expression often."

"Just talking to an old acquaintance."

"Ah."

"Hey, Hakuba?"

"Yeah?"

"How do you fancy a trip to Paris?"

lessee.... she called him an amateur... but mostly it seems she just stuck to the normal 'Kid' or 'Kid the Phantom Thief' and such.

But then again, I'm using an English translation to discern this, so who knows what language it actually came from. -_- I could be completely wrong.

Hummm...
All good but for two things:
-Heisei Lupin : Heisei in this context would seem like a first name ^^; I guess you meant it as an adjective? The French would probably phrase it 'Le petit Lupin de l'ère Heisei' or 'Le petit Lupin du 21ième Siècle' I think... But Heisei Lupin is cute ^.^
-garçon: 'Mon Garçon' would make it less harsh.

Thank you! *whew* I don't know why everyone decides to speak different languages when I barely have a good grasp of English!

'Heisei' is a time period in Japan, the current one I believe. So it's like calling him the Current Japanese Lupin. *scratches head* Don't use 'Heisei Lupin' as a nick all that much, because most people won't get the joke, but I think it's more common among the Japanese fans.

*shrugs helplessly* She decided to call them 'terrible infants', I don't know why.

hehe, I liked it, epecially with Chat Noir calling the police "Terrible Children" After all, doesn't Nakamori throw temper fits?

Hmm... in this case, the terrible children were supposed to be the ones that were breaking into the Louve, as per the first chapter.
*thuds head on desk* Hopefully this'll all make sense once the timeline gets figured out. ^^;;
