What kind of work is my name associated with? What kind of assumptions do you make about a piece of writing, fiction or non, if you see my name on it?

Nota bene: This is emphatically NOT an attempt to fish for compliments. I'm not trying to get judgements on the quality of my work, but rather about its other characteristics.

For example, if you were given the name of an actor, that might make you think of a certain genre of film he or she is often in or a type of character.

That sums it up nicely. Whenever I see an Icka fic, I know I'm gonna be giggling by the end of it. (One Night being the exception that proves the rule.) I think of light-hearted comedic ficlets that are also a bit sweet.

Hmm..... weird stuff/twist. ^__^ Not in any way ordinary. Unexpected. Intriguing. And usually humorous. Except when it's like that 'Akako mindwiping Kaito' bit O_o; (but again with the weirdness)

oh, random note - there are compiled volumes of Det. Conan yaoi doujin. I did not know that. Did you know that?

I haven't read anyone else's reply yet, but I won't be surprised if they're similar, but I think it's usually twisty episodic humor. Your stories tend to be self-contained but often connected, and there's usually some sort of bait and switch in it. And humor tends to dominate, though not always, of course. As I said, though, I bet others have said something similar but better written - I don't have the way with words others do. :)

When I see Icka! M. Chif's name, I grin. Coz I KNOW the story's gonna be fun and it's gonna make me laugh. So... I guess you're often associated with fun. And a little bit of twisted humour. ^_^

Hmmm...well, when I see your name beside a new fic, I usually think Goodie!something sweet and not too long to brighten my day on the way to work or whatever, because usually your stuff is, while not short-short, perfect little short stories complete unto themselves, but well-realized and in some way vaguely connected. And when it's angsty stuff I know I'm going to be thinking about it for the whole day, because most of all when I see your stuff, I know I"ll be getting a little sneak peek into the truth behind life and the world in general

I have entirely too many deep thoughts for it being this early and my birthday no less, TIME TO READ SOME FUN STUFF!
