HUZZAH!!!
Went to Rennnisance Faire today.
Many MANY sexual indudenos. Soooo much fun. First time I haven't dressed up in period garb to go to it.
Do not want to think about all the faire boogers down my bra...

You know it's gonna be a fun Faire when one of the first things you see is the Washerwomen washing a bunch of guys in their skivvies. Much butt-smacking and running around of fine male flesh in tight wet underclothes. The funniest one was the guy wandering around with a towel around his waist. Just as he was going into the big tub where a couple of other guys were already splashing, one of them smacked him in the butt and the towel fell down.

... he was wearing black speedos with lots of red lacy ruffles all along the butt.

-nice legs by the way.

Picked up a miniature Vajra at faire. (protection symbol, divine wrath by lightening) The vendor laughed and told me that it would keep the bad guys away, and attract only good men. I put it on my necklace and wandered around.

Wandered off and got to dance around the Maypole (yay, cucumbers!), then got hit on by a lady.

Went back and told the guy that I wasn't quite sure if it was working right... but it's comfortable, so we'll keep it.

Met many cool people at Faire, even a few anime fans. Hee!!! ^___^

Been wanting to dance around the Maypole for years now, and finally got to, was very happy. Keep dancing and giggling. Even wrapped one of the ladies teaching us how to do it around the pole. She gave me a cucumber that I stuck down my clevage and asked if they could adopt me. ^_^ Gave her a hug on the way out.
Miss doing Renn Faire, but dunno if I have the energy to do it like I used to.

On the other hand, discovered we should never sing the chorus to Adina Howard's "Horny For Your Love" along to the radio around people who know me well.
The other 4 people actually pitched forward in a massive collective facefault. It was a good thing we were at a stoplight at the time or there might have been an accident...
Of course, when I sing it, I'm thinking of actual horns. *points to Neko-Imp personal pic*
They were thinking pr0n, and the fact that they all know that I am as neuter as... something that has no interest in sex. ^^;;

Is about the equvilant of Kaito walking into a sushi joint and ordering raw fish and loving it. Just not gonna happen.

The reaction was amusing tho.

Fun day!!!

... will find out tomorrow all the interesting places we're sunburned this time, although the haori and the chinese sun umbrella helped a lot. ^____^

Hiya

**sigh** Major envy....... I missed the Devonshire Renfaire in Phoenix this year, what with the divorce stuff and all-- and I love that one. Need SCA! Must go to a big, big SCA war soon! Am suffering withdrawel, I think.

Red lacy ruffles? Really? Wish you had had a camera. I really love the fact that you get to see lots of scantily-clad bods in the SCA; tights on men make much other bothersomeness worth it (and make me want to find a waterhose), and I'll watch the bellydancers anyday... **jingle, jingle** I suspect your Vajra was just sort of working overtime, that's all, or maybe somebody forgot to install a gender-indicator clause or something into the charm? Whatever...

Maypoles are wonderful. I've done a few of them, and the last couple were totally traditional-- straw crown & all, AND were set up by some of my neopagan friends who knew exactly what they were symbolizing. Much giggling during the dancing, I recall. The cucumber would have fit RIGHT in, trust me.

How goes the writing? Got more Windfall... will show you tomorrow night. Bye!

Elf: Bodices are wonderful things, yes. Especially if you're large. *pokes chest*
I like the way the turkish costumes look better, but they're not really meant for large females. ^^;;

Tini: Sometimes I wonder if it's not my life that's interesting, it's just my POV on it...
Need to send you comments on your story! Sorry!

Ysabet: *nods* Yeah, the cucumber did fit right in. There was a whole speal before the dance about 'Look at the pole. It is long, it is hard, it is fiberous. And on those late cold winter nights when you have nothing to relieve the aching in your loins save what the good Lord gave you, you will remember the pole and give thanks to... the Cucumber!!!"
-those were some big cucumbers too... o_O
Wanna take bellydancing class again, the traditional kind instead of the modern. Forget moving my hips, wanna learn the grace, dammit!

Oh, do you know what an acorn symbolises? I know Oak is male... somehow one ended up on my charms necklace, oppisite the Varja. (seem to be collecting 'protection symbols from around the world'...)

Windfall! Yay! Don't have anything written, but scanned in that rough sketch I was telling you about for the Aoko outside the bathroom door scene.
Trade you?

Oh! My site has a new mascot that I'm currently sketching to decorate with. Rabid the Plot Bunnie. He's a chibi-hell hound with bunnie ears. *sweatdrops*

LOL...wouldn't ya know it

Here you are the one person in our family totally uninterested in yummy males and you get an eye full! ;) Makes me soooooo jealous. Though...don't think anyone would have appreciated the attendant nosebleed I would have gotten or the sunburn from my blush. Having some troubles with my 'wife.' Which has put me in a totally yaoi writing mood....and curse you for introducing me to conan...having yaoi plot bunnies! GRR! Got the English version of Kindaichi! WHEEEEEEE! Thank you so much for telling me about that. And, BTW, I am sending you my yaoi conan fic as revenge for getting me into yet another fandom. *poutpout* ;)

**grin** sorry about the 'nuts' comment; couldn't resist. According to all the symbolism stuff I've read, acorns symbolize the potential for expansion from a small beginning-- greatness packaged inside a tiny seed. In other words, "Beware of short people" (or that's how I think of it from my 5-foot-nothing height). **Ysabet now breaks into her own private rendition of Terry Pratchett's 'Wee Free Men': YARRRRRRR!! NAC MAC FEEGALS!!! WEE FREE MEN!!! AND WEE FREE WIMMEN!!! NO KING! NO QUEEN! NO LAIRD! WE WILL NEVER BE FOOLED AGAAAAAAAIN!!! AYE, CRIVINS!!!**

Errrr, sorry 'bout that last one. Just finished TP's latest book, and I'm still coming down from it. Or up, depending on your point of view...

Beware of lawyers! Or at least, have a toad on hand to refute them on their own ground!

Aw, Nut Bunnies!

YOU WROTE CONAN YAOI?!
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT!!!
*falls over laughing*
Conan Yaoi... oh, my... What pairing? What pairing? C'mon! Please Please Please! Ya gotta tell me!!!
-and Ann just finished up her fishie fic too... So very sweet there. *purrrrrrrrs*

Today... is a good day. Hakuba and Kaito yummy goodness one one side, mystery pairing goodness on the other side, and I KNOW what kind of fics you write! *dies of laughter*

Oh, dear... It's offical, we've perverted the fandom... *falls over laughing again*

I'm beginning to think Bishies are like Chibies and Cats. They only follow after those who aren't interested in them. *remembers the Yaoi-Con Auction*

Ysabet: Potential, huh? *fiddles with necklace* Well, that works. Very well indeed... Kinda freakily well.

No worries on the singing, but with 'Neechan's comments, should be grateful you're not singing about 'Free Willy', ne? ^______^

-ICKA! the *snickering* IMP

Perhaps it is your POV...I read your original stories at your site last night...heh. Interesting. But I still hold to my theory that Texas is a bore.

As for my story, it's ok. You don't have to if you haven't got the time (or interest ^^).
