“Ah.” Ryo glanced at the clock and rose from his chair. “The kids’ll be home soon, I’d better start on dinner”
“You know,” Dee commented. “You should really do something about your habit of adopting strays. They’re obnoxious, eat your food, cause a mess and leave without a thanks.”
The door slamming announced the arrival of said kids.
“You!” Bikky glared at Dee. “Man, Ryo. What did I tell you about bringing home strays? They’re rude, obnoxious and do nothin’ but cause trouble!”
Dee straightened in outrage. “Hey!”
“So I’ve heard.” Ryo commented blandly as he walked into the kitchen.

Air still smells like smoke, and it's killing my head. May take the bus tomorrow instead of biking it. We like breathing, thank you.
Still finding the mental picture of Smoker from One Piece trapped in a bottle amusing. *starts humming 'Genie in a Bottle'* "if you want me baby, you gotta rub me the right way..."

Love the expressions on their faces when Dee realises that Ryo had just said that he had done so too. The posturing on both of them is great, and Ryo's so embarrassed. *snickers* (feels like a gossiping schoolgirl)
Fourth one comes out 4 November too. XD
No clue what Tokyopop is gonna do for Vol 7 tho... I tracked down scans and info on the series last night, and #7 has not one, but 2 lemon scenes.
I had heard that they were gonna send them sealed, but there's no shipping date for it yet, so kinda wondering if they're gonna back out or something... ^^;;

Still has the release date as 4 Nov. (geh. Can't believe I'm actually obsessing over a shojou series. >| )
Can't find King of Bandit Jing #3 yet either, and that was released 2 weeks ago.
The second Duklyon gets released on 11 Nov, so I'm happy. Just really wish they'd do better with the translations on it. 'sweet cheeks' and all that.
Haven't seen Miyuki or the next Kindaichi yet either, and those were released 7 Oct.
Noo... I'm not addicted to manga or anything... ^^;;

Date: 2003-10-27 09:34 pm (UTC)As for expressions, those are good... but my absolute, total favorite is Ryo's when he realizes that he has just announced to Dee that it *bothers* him when Dee kisses somebody else. Major case of bug-eyes there, that's for sure.
