[fic] MK: Virgin Sacrifice

ickaimpBad day today, so we're gonna be spending most of the day in our head.
Which means weird stuff like this.
Loosely based off of Ann's sequal to 'Fish'. *hearts*
Hakuba Saguru was a Detective.
"Oi, Kuroba?" The blond asked, gaining the wild-haired boys attention.
He was a very logical person, trained and skilled in observation, deduction, gathering evidence and putting the pieces together in a clear, concise manner.
"Is it just me," Hakuba hesitated, unsure if he overstepping his boundaries. "But have Aoko-kun and Koizumi hanging out more than usual?"
Kuroba Kaito was a Magician / Thief.
"No..." Kuroba's head tilted slightly as he mused it over. "You're right. They are."
His logic was more scattered, based on a different set of observation and deduction skills, survival instincts, and wild intuitive leaps of creative logic.
"Hm." Hakuba smiled, tossing out another theory. "Sort of like how we're spending more time together too..?" He alluded to their own recent change in relationship.
Although occasionally, very very rarely, the 'wild intuitive leaps of logic' missed their mark. Drastically.
"KOIZUMI!!!" Kuroba shouted, pointing a finger at the surprised witch. "I won't allow you to use Aoko as a Virgin Sacrifice!"

Of course, what you don't see is Akako laughing her head off, Aoko wanting to know just 'WHO's a Virgin Sacrifice?!" before storming off to get her mop, Kaito realising he'd just said the wrong thing before running for it and Hakuba just standing there wondering where the -hell- that came from.
Also currently entertaining plunnies off of Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk".
Why don’t you ask him if he’s going to stay?
Why don’t you ask him if he’s going away?
Why don’t you tell me what’s going on?
Why don’t you tell me who’s on the phone?
Why don’t you ask him what’s going on?
Why don’t you ask him who’s the latest on his throne?
Don’t say that you love me!
Just tell me that you want me!
