ickaimpTook a quick trip to the Mitsuwa during lunch with Porcupine Head.
No new ticket prices, but they're starting to get the anime calendars up. They have a One Piece one hanging currently, with ads for the Conan, Saiyuki and D•N•Angel calendars too. ^_^ (we've had the Saiyuki calendars for the past 2 years, thinking of switching series)
They also have One Piece plushies in the Candy aisle, about 10" high. (little taller than a hand length high) Luffy and Chopper only. You can hide stuff up their butts. No, seriously. It's a hidden pocket in their pants.
... and that just sounds worse and worse...

St. Seiya Movies.
Okay, warning. 'Neechan loaned me the 4 St. Seiya movies. Anything that 'Neechan loans me must be watched with a perverted mind.
... just keep that in mind.

Saw the first 2 movies.
Similar pattern.
Thestupid bint Wise and Beautiful Goddess Athena goes off alone and gets captured, and bound up someplace where she can watch over where the final confrontation will be.
The 5 saints immediately panic and go charging off to save her.
What follows:
The blond guy with the swan armour and flaps like a duck to summon his attack gets knocked unconscious and/or kidnapped.
Dragon dude falls in the water and looses his shirt and pretty much all his armour. (yup, you were right, his shirt is water-soluble) He then defeats his opponent, and attempts to either drown himself or grow gills while face down in the water. Dude, if you're a suicidal nudist to begin with, why are you bothering with the armour?
The youngest one, the really bishi one with the green hair and the bright pink armour and the chains will get his arse handed to him. Which is rather disturbing, seeing as he's the only one without a rear protector. Uh, metal mini-skirt. Kilt! ^^;;
His older brother, who has Phoenix armour, then shows up and defeats the guy who just beat up his little brother with one hit. From behind. Which would be an awesome strategy if I thought it was planned.
Now, 3 of the 5 of them have been beat up and/or un-conscious.
We now go to the site of the final confrontation, where you have Seiya, shouting Athena's host's name rather dramatically. Bad guy shows up. Mwuahahaha. Seiya gets knocked around, Phoenix-guy shows up to help and gets kicked around too.
Dramatic moment.
Bruised and beaten team-mates call encouragement to Seiya as they drag (not walk) themselves through the dirt, up hills, etc etc.
Seiya then summons stronger shiny gold armour with wings and weaponry, making a Justice Speech the whole way.
More fighting until he finally pulls out the bow and arrow to fire at bad guy.
But because he's innocent hero type, must angst for several minutes firing arrow, allowing others to get hurt in the meantime. Then finally fires the arrow, defeats bad guy who makes bad 'IMPOSSIBLE!" screams before biting the big one.
Athena is restored, everyone's happy, la-la-la.
'Neechan, PLEASE tell me this pattern changes. >_<
I got called a wench today! Cause I have about 2 metres of this wide funky maroon fabric trim wrapped around my head several times as a head band. ^__^ *happy* The circles kinda look like squid suckers to me.
