[30] RAINING!!!

Okay, so I'm talking to Ysabet and Hell's Hauntress when Ysabet announces that it's raining and dissappeared.
About a minute later, I hear pitter patter and blink.
Look out the window.
IT'S RAINING!!!
... that may not mean much to you, but it rarely rains here, and is far from rainy season.
So I run outside, and it's just the end of sunset, so the sky is still multi-hued, and there's patches of sky in the evening marine layer and it's slowly raining, big fat droplets of water out of the sky.
Just... wow.
Sky above, warm concrete under our feet and the smell of wet earth...
Wow.

**laughs** Yeah, the rain came down in BATHTUBFULLS on this end; you got the splashes!! But it was nice here too, despite knocking me offline almost immediately (see, I resisted the impulse to say that Actually my going offline was me *leaping* into the sky and shoving clouds aside, thus causing rain elsewhere. Well, I *sort of* resisted it, I guess. Actually, I guess I didn't...) I ended up going outside in it too-- thunderstorms are so great, so long as they're not trying to fry you to a nice, crispy crunch.

Didn't get to show you the 'Torture KK' sequence last night, so I'm attempting to paste it in the next posting; it may be too big, so not sure I can, but if I can I will.
