Have about 3 major things I need to post about covering the past two weeks, but this is getting done first, because OMG GUESS WHAT IN JULY?!

If you had a week to wander around Britain, where would you go?

When I did have a week to wander around in Britain, I went to
York, (the Minster, the museums, the quantity of Roman & Viking artifacts & sites, plus proximity to Middleham Castle and other things Ricardian.)

Glastonbury (the tor, the cathedral ruins, and much with the Avalon/Arthurian connection)
Salisbury (Stonehenge, Woodhenge, sundry other neolithic and celtic sites)
Plymouth (The museum shipyard with the Mary Rose and the Victory)

In London I went to Many Places, among them the Museum of London, Westminster Cathedral, the National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. Oh and the British Museum.

I would go back in a heartbeat, and see Hadrian's Wall, Weland's Smithy, one or more of the historical re-enactment/re-construction sites for various time-periods. I'd like to see the Doctor Who Experience or equivalent too.
