Borrowing scribe_ari's scanner. And OMG. O.M.G. LOOK at that!!!



That is TWO pages in the middle of a sketch book on CREAM coloured paper. And it scanned like B&W. (I drew the image around the crease of the book, it's the pillar)

Is that not AMAZING?!!?! No shadows or anything! A Clean Scan!

Okay! Off to scan some more! Next up! One with Pencil Shadings! Let's see how that turns out!

It did dawn on me after posting that it prolly sounds weird to other people, cackling over scan quality instead of how well the art turned out, but when you only have access to a scanner and a computer that can run graphics programs 2 or 3 times a year, it's a Big Deal.
But it's a HUGE step up from trying to take a photo of the art then using brightness/contrast to clean it up. >P

If you wanna fill it in, play with the colours, please, feel free!

I usually try to do some pencil shading on these, but I'm not in the right headspace to use shading to portray mood right now. ^^;;
