Tried out this recipe here (http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/02/thick-chewy-oatmeal-raisin-cookies/), sans-nuts or raisins, since we didn't have any.

It was experimental since I added some Almond Extract to add the flavour, in addition to the Vanilla. Also, since I couldn't find any pumpkin pie spice, added ground cloves, ginger, and nutmeg along with the cinnamon.

Unfortunately, couldn't find the measuring spoons, so judged the Almond Extract and Vanilla by best guess, which made the cookies too liquid and prone to crumbling. Hence, suicidal cookies. Also, the Almond flavour was a bit overwhelming, but not entirely unpleasant.

Next time, including the Almond, but not as much, to give it just a tiny hint of nutty goodness. Maybe more of the ground spices, since ours are old and aren't very potent. ^^;;

Would say I'd pass some on... but they got eaten already. #^^# Sorry!
