[fic] Naruto: Curry Ramen

ickaimpToday was a good day. Took Sirrah on my usual Saterday walk up to the Ninjiya, picnic lunch under the plum tree in the front yard and a nap next to a dog. Can't get much better than that. ^______^
And takoyaki too. *purrrrrrrrrrrrrs*
Um... was gonna put something here, but forgot. *shrugs* So will put up a short Naruto ficlet instead.
***"Alright, now pay attention Dobe." Sasuke said seriously, placing a bowl on the table in front of the impatient blond haired boy. "This... is ramen."
Naruto ignored the jab in favour of grabbing his chopsticks with a wide grin "Ikataki-"
"No." Sasuke cut him off.
Naruto froze, his eyes wide in surprise. "Eh?"
Sasuke held up another bowl. "And this is curry." He poured the lumpy brown sauce into the bowl of plain noodles. "Put them together, and you have curry ramen."
The loudest ninja in the village silently poked the dish with suspicious eyes as if he was expecting to sprout tentacles and attack him at any moment. "Curry... ramen?"
"Just try it."
Naruto risked a quick glance before shrugging and taking a small bite. There was a slight pause as his eyes suddenly lit up and he began eating at his usual frantic pace. "This is GOOD!" He exclaimed amid gulps of food.
Sasuke allowed himself a small smirk at the accomplishment.
"Sasuke-kun?" Sakura hesitantly hovered behind the sombre eyed boy. "I thought the whole idea of this exercise was to get him away from always eating ramen."
Sasuke gave her a one armed shrug. "Figured if we could wean him off of ramen into curry, we could get him to try other foods from there."
"Ah." Understanding flashed across her face. After all, she was getting as tired of constant ramen as he was. "Good Plan."

Yes, we had curry for dinner, incase you couldn't tell. #^^#
Still in shock that our website turns 4 years old (young?) this Monday. Started out with something like 15 fics and a couple of fanart, and now (if we ever finish the fic update) we're around 400 fanfics and a very large handful of fanart doodles.
Working on an update. Due to recently finding out that it is prohibited in Japan to post copywrited material (such as offical summaries and art) all the scanned art is being removed and being replaced by fanart. Yeah, I know we don't have to, but it feels like the right thing to do.
But needless to say, it's taking a while... *sweatdrops*
And it has just dawned on me I left the sun tea outside, and is now after dark... *runs*

Cause when I get my site up *cough, cough, choke, gasp* it'll have some copywriten stuff but with the copywrite there..I actually talked to Kelly Freas once about this and all he wanted was for me to do the copywritesign and the date I was printing it on so that it told the audience that the copywrite was still functioning. Would that work?? for you I mean? Or are all the pretties now gone??? sniffle and sob and does this mean I'll never seee another Jon(can't remember how to spell the rest) in fuku? NNnnnnnnooooooooo....
