heh, I've been driving since sixteen and still can't parell park, almost ran over the last person who attempted to teach me.

Heh. Passed that a decade and a bit ago. Luckily when I became 1.5 eye'd, they didn't re-test my parallel parking skills, as it's surprisingly difficult without accurate binocular vision.

I can sort of parallel park. When I'm pulling alongside the curb with no cars in sight.

Also, I failed my learner's permit test the first time around. The computer they gave me had a glitch, kept skipping questions.

I echo the parallel parking. I didn't have to.

Just a written test, followed by driving around Middletown, RI. The tester was annoyed they couldn't see the dials - my mom's gt a Matrix, and everything was recessed. Hee...

...I didn't even have to take a driving test when I got my license o.o Just walked in and smiled for the camera *shudder* And the driver's ed lesson on parallel parking was about ten minutes long. Still can't do it.

Now, what did I say was the hardest thing to learn to do? **nods** Godsdamn parking. You might want to ask Morgan if you could borrow her van (with her in it), grab some cardboard boxes to mimic traffic-cones and take 'em out to a school parking-lot; that's what me and my dad did when I was learning to drive in Driver's Ed but failing the parking bit massively. 2-liter bottles'd probably work even better than the boxes.

Pima College West Campus on a Sunday is actually pretty good for practicing.
