Quickie Update

Wow. Nothing says 'gusts of wind up to 50mph' like being up on the 8th story and watching the large windows next to me bow inwards during a presentation.
Wheee.
Had some first person verification on the death at the hotel, happened 13 years ago, an elderly lady, who apparently suffered from mental illness, simply took off her shoes and glasses and jumped off the balcony, down to the inside courtyard where breakfast was taking place.
Husband wasn't shocked, apparently this wasn't the first time she'd tried to do something like that.
Eerie thing? She didn't make a sound.
It's kept kind of hush hush because it's bad for business. A guy who'd been there when it happened, and had to throw away his blood splattered shirt, couldn't show up for years because of it.
-We're still getting some minor activity, but we've had people showing up the past few days, so it's not as bad. Peering shadows and the like.
So, good news bad news:
Good News: Getting together with some Horde brothers tomorrow for breakfast. \o/
Bad News: Power cord/brick for the laptop died a sputtering beeping death. Could spend $90 and get a replacement, or could hold off a few weeks and get a new netbook for $400.
-Updates'll be slow for a bit. Sorry.
