So it's been a busy few days.

Yesterday, I did my first solo day. Had three shows, zombies the first, the Dreaded Clap the second and sold both couples in the last show. Weird. Was rather annoyed that the hotel didn't have any post cards, am trying to remember to send those out to random people whenever we stop.

Then went to Dave and Busters for the first time. It's like Chuck E. Cheese for adults, with beer. Is pretty cool.

Stayed up way too late talking with a Scadian friend of my supervisor J, but it was fun. The waitress kept coming over to hide with us.

Today, drove down to Houston. It was a quiet trip, played the Last Letter Game (Shiritori) most of the way down, with Geography. Vowels are hard. Especially 'A'.

Found a nice place to crash for the night in Houston, tomorrow joining up with several other salesfolk. Be interesting to see the different personalities.

There's also a Genghis Kahn exhibit in the Houston Museum of Natural History. Wanna goooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

\o/ That would be awesome! -as long as you don't mind me geeking out. #^^# This is the era I want to explore in the SCA.

Will be finding out if I'm working tonight in a few hours, and then hopefully what hours I'm working this week. Evenings I'm usually in presentations, but mornings I'm free.

But yeah, as far as I know, I'm here through Sunday to sometime possibly Wednesday-ish. That's really up in the air at the moment. ~_~

Only if you don't mind me going nuts over the whole museum itself. =) (particularly the hall of minerals and gems... yes, they have cut shiney stones in there too)

If you can't do it tonight, I'm free all day Sunday (the museum hours are 11-5 Sun). And I'm going to give a call in a bit to make sure of the hours tonight. It would suck to make plans tonight and they change the hours the one night we plan something. Sunday would definitly easier to do. I'd have to sprint from work to get down there but it isn't impossible if it is the only way.

Whoo-hoo! note to self: full charge on the camera.

I'd like to take a full day explore the whole place, but that's not currently in the books. And I just checked with the owner, but weekend afternoons aren't something I can take off. *emo* I have to be at the hotel by noon.

Can hopefully be free during one of the weekdays-? May have to be in 6-ish, but would that work for you?

I'll have to be tonight. This is the only weekday the museum is open late (and the latest time to enter is 6 pm). Unless you want to be in at 9 am Saturday (which I have a place I have to be at noon on Sat). If you want to talk, my cell # (http://ytak.livejournal.com/292457.html). It's locked so you have to be signed in to view it.

If you have to be in around noon on weekends, we might be able to do it first thing in the morning on Saturday. It opens at 9 am then. That'd give us time to crawl through the exhibit and get you back with some time to spare (depending on where you are staying).

Unfortunately, I work from 8 to 4:30, so I can't do mornings. TT And I haven't been hired on long enough to take vacation without penalty.

I feel like I've had the brain fart of the decade. -You- can go. I may not be able to go with you but you can go. I'm not sure where you are staying but if you are in the downtown area, you could take the Metrorail (http://www.ridemetro.org/SchedulesMaps/RailSched.aspx) (also known as the Light Rail) to the museum district. Then you could see the exhibits during the day and head back before they shut down for the night.
