Weekend Retort: Story Book Edition

Starting a day early because it was made of win. Went to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lferion's house and got to meet an amazing bunch of old-time slashfic writers. Had so much fun. and kinda gave people a heartattack by missing Death Note II. Whoops. Really should get a phone.
-John and Rodney belong tomrshamill, I just supplied the handcuffs. Evidently, John likes being on his knees, but Rodney won't do it.
-Friday-
Went to Heraldry Hut with Megs, got her name and heraldry worked out, my inverted kracken with wings gules is okay, still need a name for me.
Dad arrived, evidently he'd been getting cranky, so Gigi threw him out to go travel for a bit. *whew* No bad news. Had dinner with him and Megs until way to late, but had a good time.
-Sat-
Dragged Dad to archery, finally figured out how to fire my longbow without massive bruising, and Dad suggested going to get, and I quote, "Real Mexican Food."
In Silver City, New Mexico.
A three hour drive away.
We left archery early.

... Arrived to cheesecrack party a little late, but brought Sopaipillas.
-Sunday-
Went to breakfast with Dad, then dragged him to Bookman's and watched him go nuts on the audio books. Mwuahahahaa
Afterwhich, Dad wanted to do something other than a long car ride like Saterday, so we headed to the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum and walked around, taking lots of pics.
Dad left yesterday morning, I had Scribble last night and today I got a housesitting gig forscribe_ari for over the Hols and found out that the Nanny Job ends on Friday.
Back to the job search...
