So Dad just e-mailed me, he's coming Friday night and wants to know where I am so he can get a hotel nearby.

Heh. Hah. HahahahaHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAhahaaa. heh.

M'pretty much nomadic at this point. On a given week, I'll sleep at between 2 and 4 different places. Not including the occasional housesitting or trips outta town.

Weekdays, I'm usually South-East with some Central thrown in, and on the weekends, North-West with some Central thrown in.

So. Any recommendations for hotels in Tucson? Preferably on the cheaper side, since I don't know how long he's gonna be out.

Thanks.

There's a lot of them along the freeway, but that's kind of far from you.

There's also a bunch near the UA.

Closest one to you that I know of is the Hilton on Broadway near Pantano.

Here's a map (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=hotels+loc:+3250+s+pantano,+Tucson,+AZ&sll=32.233455,-110.928944&sspn=0.102225,0.153809&ie=UTF8&ll=32.219772,-110.856686&spn=0.10224,0.153809&z=13) of local hotels; I poked around a bit, and the Super 8 on Craycroft between 22nd and Golflinks isn't bad as in closeby and all; it runs $62.50 per night, which isn't spectacular but actually is pretty cheap for close by. Not gonna be easy.

Not a hotel rec, but I could probably offer you crash-space occasionally if needed.
