1: The Beagle is a bed hog. You'd think it'd be the Labrador that'd be shoving me off the bed, but nooooo. It's the itty bitty beagle.

2: *Xan steals the nazar boncuğu off of Icka's hat and runs off squealing happily*
Icka!: "Gimme back my eyeball!"
Xan: "Here."
*Xan offers blue glass eye charm to Icka!*
Icka!: "Thank you."
*Icka! takes nazar and sets about to fixing the loop.*
Icka!: "... wait...."
*Xan grins at Icka!'s suspicious look and runs off*

3: My Dad may or may not be coming out to Tucson next weekend. Waiting for more details, but I'd love to drag him to Archery. Mwuahahahahaa.

Small dogs know how to better use their size to take up the most amount of bed.

My old pug did the same thing - he was a master.

Mebbe it's that thing about the smaller a creature is, the more space it takes up on the bed. But I must admit, the few times I've shared a bed with dogs it's been with medium size dogs, so it's a bit of a learning curve here. ^^;;

... strangely enough, m'sleeping better and heavier, even with the dog trying to shove me off the large bed. ~_o

It's the same principle used by little kids. You can cram four adults or two toddlers into the same king-sized bed. I suspect it's an anti-smothering mechanism-- no space for you! All your air is belong to us!

All your air is belong to us!

Is that like the theory that the reason why people yawn when they see someone else yawn is because their brain says that the other person is stealing all the air?

Well, no, scientists think that the yawning thing is a monkey signal for "bedtime now" or something.

...wait, he said "Here"? @_@

And that'd be good; I'd love to say hi to your dad again! ^__^

... I don't think it's a good thing, honestly. Yes, I love seeing my Dad, but considering the news from home I'd been getting recently.. >_O

Also, his conversations haven't exactly been nerve soothing. 'Are you going to be in town next weekend' and 'I might wander over' do not inspire confidence in the situation.

Oh. OH. Haven't exactly been told the situation (though I now have more of an inkling than I did when I wrote this comment), but I believe I see what you mean. Best of luck with this, Icka; if I can help, let me know.

Pretty sure I've told you about it, the fighting and the 'D' word getting thrown around due to uncontrollable spending issues and trying to sell my Grandfather's things.

Thinking that I may stick him up in a hotel for the weekend, no offense to the futon, but he's got a bad back.

In general, yeah... I haven't wanted to pry, though. And no problem; I like the futon, but it's not good for everybody's backs.
