Mwuahahahaaa. Quiet Weekend FTW!!! \o/

Older dog moved up from offering me shoes in exchange for breakfast, to blankets, to my own clothing. ... That was interesting.

Friday:
Wrote lots, wandered over MOrgan's house to watch Olympic Opening Ceremonies. Very cool.

Sat:
Wrote lots, got kidnapped by Megs to run errands and watch Slayers. Very Cool.

Sunday:
Wrote lots, finished housesitting (woe) played D&D. Discovered that as a halfling warlord, I have +9 for Intimidation. Which is all sorts of wrong. Also have +9 for Diplomacy, which resulted in said halfling warlord talking to a pair of old hags in a valley girl accent about where to find big boss for this campaign.
... have since been informed to never ever use the valley girl accent for halfing warlord character ever again. Mwuahahaha

Did sketches of some of the antics of the D&D group, will have to ink and post eventually. ^^;;

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] uaekiwi!!!

-Add airheaded giggle to the middle and end, and you've pretty much got it. Easiest Accent for me EVAH.

Best part was the rest of my team 'backing' me up.

As in every time either I or the Hags spoke, they backed up five feet.

*laughs* I grew up in So. Cali during the "Valley Girl/Surfer Guy" craze...people look at me funny when I slip and say "Dude".

I love doing the Valley Girl, but it's even more funny when my British accent slips in.

My sister cultivated a "surfer girl" accent in highschool and can't seem to get rid of it now. *laughs* She now lives in southern Texas and is developing an unholy combination accent, I love teasing her about it.

That's where I get my British accent. I'm born and bred California (though currently living in Oregon so I have a bit of a western slip to my language). Some how, after years of Drama classes that enforced a British accent so I could better pronounce words like "horror" (instead of whore-or) and "iron" (urn), I am now stuck with a 'general' British accent that is noticeable.

The idea of a British valley girl accent amuses me. *grin*

I was born in northern Califoria, but now live in New Mexico. For some reason people often ask about my accent, or ask when I "came to this country". Apperantly I sound sort of vaguely European. *shrugs*

Hahahaa. I grew up in the LA suburbs and would get welcomed to the city whenever I went downtown, cause -obviously- I was new to Los Angeles.

It was both funny and annoying at the same time. ^^;;

Hmm... I've got a bit of the Kiwi accent still in there, mixed with the So Cal valley girl when I get really excited. First thing that comes outta my mouth: "DUDE!"
-It's worse with my younger sister.

Funny thing? I flatten a lot of my vowels out, so occasionally people think I'm from Canada instead. ^^;;

I know what you mean, I get welcomed to America once in a while. I guess my being a fan of Doctor Who, Anime, and British comedies doesn't help. It's just one of many reasons that I say I spread confusion wherever I go. ^__^

I'm a tiefling ranger. Dual axes, plus a longbow. >D ....Now if only I could remember to mark my quarry every turn, and to use Bloodhunt when I'm supposed to, and to roll the right dice in the right order, and.....

;w;

*still learninnnnnnng*
