Wiki stole my 怪盗キッド

Oh, gods. Completely random. Working on a chapter of TGA which jumped me in the shower and I needed the 'kana for Kaitou Kid, and since I was on Wikipedia looking up Japanese calender names, just hopped over to the Kid Wiki article.

Booooo. Wrong. Nope!

I drew it in Photoshop based off of a background image in the manga. NOT the original, just looks damn close. Also got tired of people stealing it all the frikkin' time, which is why it states 'Mischif.net', so people know where it came from.

... and if people had asked back in December when they posted it to Wikipedia, I could have given them the original without the 'mischif.net'. But alas, that's on the still-dead laptop. Suxx0rs to you, dude. XD

I'm trying to remember which manga file it was but either way I think this is another "LULZ" moment.

Volume 55, the flashback when Yukiko is talking to Toichi is where you get the '1412' that 'KID' originally came from.

-The only other time they explain Kid = 1412 is Kid's first appearance in the manga, volume 16, but that's done in a fonty text behind Agasa.

[been meaning to ask if anyone's seen her for a couple of weeks now. She drops off the radar occasionally, figured it couldn't hurt to ask to make sure she's not dead. ^^;;]

*laughs* I'm kinda missing my files saved on my dead laptop, they're all nicely colour coded and titled so I could just -go- to the files I want.

[Becky usually vanishes around summertime, so it wasn't a huge worry. ^^;; Every so often I think about whipping up a file to leave on my desktop. Something along the lines of: 'In case of sudden death, please post the news here, here and here. Thank you']

YES OH MY GOD. that's what to do. T__T I have been trying to figure out how to a) have the precautions in place and b) make sure that they stay up to date - giving instructions to people only works if those people know the whole network, which is impossible with my life.

I talked to her on yahoo on the 19th of this month--you know she's always had trouble with MSN, and her parents tried pulling the plug on the DSL again (she finally gave up and is paying the fees herself) because she's 'lazing around not looking for a job' when the 'net is her best search tool for that kind of thing.
