Speaking of Con season and since it's now a month away, is anyone going to Yaoi Jamboree up in Phoenix?

lil_1337 and I will be hosting three fanfic panels, 'General Fanfiction', 'Writing Lemons' and 'The Dos and Don'ts of Fanfiction'.

I'm kind of hoping that this'll be like YaoiCon used to be, more laid back and mellow and about people enjoying the same thing instead of all about the Buttsechs.

... Which, I know, sounds funny coming from me, but I do kinda miss the days when yaoi was more underground.

This'll be my second panel, so dunno how well it'll go. ((Snuggles))

*grins* I can totally understand that... its kind of how I miss when I had to go scrape the corners for Conan thinking the fandom had like died out months before I got in as I sought out you and ysabets and beckys and everybodies pages and felt like I was uncovering some hidden treasure that had been buried away and fics were so rare on ff.net that I could read them all...

Then I realized it was alive and kicking and it was amazing... but now its gotten so big sometimes I miss the having to plot at the exact hour and time and weekday in an attempt to hit a link to try to read the last 10 pages of the mk chappy I couldnt' get my hands on ^_~

S'why tho I think of all the cons I've gone to A-kon last year is officially my favorite not because of the con but the people and all of you guys and what not ^_^ (felt how cons are suppose to be...)

Oh Anime how you have grown in the US *shakes head ruefully* (I'm STILL waiting for the sixty minutes or dateline special on *corruption from another sea! What our children are really reading! How comics have changed... are they REALLY for kids?* I mean they finally caught onto teen novels, but at this point I'm positive SOMOENES parent has simply flipped through something like...loveless or gravitation or anything XD)

I would love to show up...but I did experiment at doing a con during Anime LA. OW is about all I have to say. I so want to show up and make you blush, but probably not gonna happen.

I wish I could go to YaoiJambori, but as I can't even afford to get myself to Kumoricon which is only 100 miles away...not happening.

Oh well, more time to work on my Ursula/Telma/Lexion costumes for next year!
