Holy Shyte Batman, this is like a massive week or something.

Went to Scriptorium on Monday, went through some books, found a period pic that made me giggle and I sat down and did an illustration (With Piggies!) that I need to figure out how to turn into the Tusker as a potential cover.
Am still getting comments about having been nominated as the new cover artist, which as long as I can continue to go to Scriptorium, I think we can handle. @_@ Doing it on my own really doesn't work well. It helps to have people around while doing detailed stuff.

... Am noticing that there is a huge difference between the silent expectation of art, and someone saying 'we need art for specific purpose' and being able to fulfil it. Also realised that illustration is something that I can barter with. Mwuahahahahahahahaaaaa.

Went to Fighter Practise last night, only got a little mixed up and ended up walking the two and a half miles from Megs' house to Practise. And then promptly took a nap. Went to talk to two people, and neither of them were there. XD Still had fun talking to people.

Tonight is Arts and Sciences, I'm taking the class to learn to become an Archery Marshal, with the follow up class on Saterday. Last archery of the season, and I may have my long bow! \o/ Kickass!

Am also on the job hunt again. Is very strange, this is the first time in about three years that I'm looking for -permanent- work. That is... like, HUGE for me. @_@;; Kinda scary really.

Please, feel free to swipe. #^^# I must admit, the comment comes from frustration of mine with my former Barony who knew I was artistic and would have liked art, but would not ask, just letting it hover as a palatable disappointment over my head.

Part of my slowness to become active in this Barony is because I'm still waiting to get blasted for doing it wrong, which has yet to happen. ^^;; Am getting better, the more people I meet, getting caught up in the excitement of creating and watching other people enjoy what they are doing. ^___^

You know, we have had a few people show up and attempt to do it wrong, but since you're worried about it, I'm pretty sure that you're not going to. And you have that whole "reasonable and intelligent human being" thing going on for you, which means if there was a misunderstanding, it would be quickly and easily corrected without trauma. So if someone tries to pull that crap on you, let us know so we can apply an attitude adjustment to whoever's doing the blasting. I'll bring the fish bat.
