Anyway.

Since Xan has started walking, we wondered a while back if we put bells on his ankles would help encourage this. This weekend, Bob and Spot got new collars, and Ysabet took the bells off the collars cause she doesn't like the noise. So today I grabbed some elastic, sewed it into loops and tied the bells on.

And it did seem to work, but it seemed to have a few unexpected results.

One, Koori and Kashii, who are used to having bells on their cat collars, kept looking around for the other cat who wasn't there. It made for some highly amusing paranoid cats.

Two, it was suddenly a heck of a lot easier to spot the exploring kiddo. XD

Also more random LJ bullshyte.
So nice of them to announce this the day of. >P

*sighs on the lj stuff* I already checked looks like I can still down grade to basic at least. And if they really want everyone looking at ads could they, you know, not put it in annoying places? I don't know how that's hard >.>

I actually never really noticed the ads, either as ickaimp or as impfics. But that's mostly because I use firefox, with adblock, with the filterset added to keep out the ads. #^^#

It's the fact that they announced it in the comments, the day -of-. Not even an official announcement, or a warning.

That's sneaky, underhanded bullshyte.

And I just realised that I'm borrowing a PC, which means I now have access to the back-up programs so I can move everything to ij. w00+ ^___^

Am planning on being there! (and I would've been at Tuesday night fighter practice this past week, but Bob got, uh, 'bobbed' that day and I was feeling protective and veeeeeery exhausted-- been a stressful past couple of weeks-- so I was lame and curled up with him and slept instead. Will be there next Tuesday.)
