Doggie Followed Me Here, honest!

So this morning when I crossed the street, I was joined by this doggie. Who then proceeded to follow me all the way to work and tried to come inside.

Her name's Tootsie, She's been a real sweetie. #^^# We put her in the backyard and called her owner, who just came and picked her up. Xan wasn't sure what to make of the large fuzzy for a while, but quickly got over that and has been enthralled ever since.

So that's been the excitement thus far for the day. ^__^

You know, when people ask how Varr and I met and I say that he followed me home and I kept him, that's not much of an exaggeration. He really did follow me home from a friend's house to make sure I got there okay, and that was pretty much that.

That reminds me of one of my walks last week. I was joined by a little scottie. His name is Winston and he lives on my street (abelt on the other segment I don't know so well), so I walked him home.

Scotties are so funny too. Wouldn't want one, but can be amused by them. #^^#

They are funny little dogs. As dogs go, I'm rather partial to them. There's something about their faces I like.

I have had that happen to me 3 times now. All times a very sweet dog that knew I would take care of them and help them get home. You got chosen! It is a blessed thing.

It really is a blessed thing, I don't get nearly enough dog time. #^^# Everyone I know seems to be a cat person, but I'm a die-hard dog person.

Thought it was kind of odd at the time though, most of the strays I see running around here won't get within three metres of people.
