-Friday-
Paid account finally lapsed, have NO interest in renewing. Am amused by the icons it chose to leave me, as they tended to be the more risqué ones.
Discordian Deed of the Day was getting an entire chatroom of girls to start singing 'If you want my body~ and you think I'm sexy~'. ^_______^

-Saterday-
Did archery, got bit by a dog, discovered that I have moved up to a 45lb bow, and managed to split one of the posts holding the target up with a 65lb longbow. Go me! #^^# -Or not.
Spent the rest of the day on hands and knees working on other people's garb. Or on my hands and knees playing with sidewalk chalk in the driveway. Ysabet should be posting pics of that soon. ^__^ I drew Tardis!

-Sunday-
On hands and knees again, finally started on my own garb. Discovered that the fabric I had bought was not enough to make a single colour del, so I'm making two of assorted patterns and colours of fabrics. First one's started and it looks pretty neat so far. Have been assured that I'm still loved even if my gussets are funny looking. ^__^
... and then was on hands and knees reaching to unpin part of the second one and quite literally fell asleep flat on my face, still on my knees like I was bowing. Eventually woke up because the weight of my cleavage was suffocating me and found myself draped in various fabrics. Staggered off to borrow a bed to sleep some more. ^^;;
Past couple weeks catching up. >P But hey, at least I know I can still sleep in funny places/positions.

And then the anime people talk about the rennie/sca stuff and my head has to remember that there are other people out there that move across lines too ^_^

And neat on the bow ^_^ I'm still working on developing the upperbody strength since I still have some trouble drawing my longbow due to it's a near 40 lber... Not to mention I still need to find time and space to go practice again >>

*laughs* There's quite a few SCAdians on my f-list, some of whom have complained a few times that I put too much anime stuff on my blog and not enough personal stuff. (nyah nyah, it's -my- blog, will post what I like)

-Right now, most of us are running around trying to get ready for Estrella War. ^^;; Hence, garb. Oh, my aching knees.

I used to be a lot more active in historical re-enactment and am currently trying to get back into it, which is why there's the sudden influx. Currently doing a Mongolian Del (http://www.redkaganate.org/clothing/shirt_coat/kaftan2.shtml), or Kaftan. Basically, Chinese Robes. They can also be used for Persian as well. ^___^

Er, you're not getting me anywhere near an Elizabethan again. Did that when I first started 15 years ago, not doing that ever again. >P
... which is slightly ironic, because I keep looking at Victorian corsets and going 'hmmm'.
Way out of my skill range however. #^^#

Oooo... Longbow. *drools* Much prefer the longbows to horsebows. Was rather surprised with the move up in strength, but I think it's cause Xan has gotten heavier, hence the increase in arm strength.
Hmm... we've only got one place to practise in town. Are there any archery clubs where you are?
