*head desk* Why do we do this to ourselves? Working on yet another Data Site, this time for Oofuri. Was surprised that there wasn't one already in English.
The funny thing being that this'll be our second Japanese Baseball Manga Page, the first being Gosho's Yoban Saado, and I'm not a huge baseball fan.
It's a bit easier, because there are scanlations for Oofuri, and I'm not having to research Japanese Baseball and it's history. But it's also harder, because there are so many more characters. I just finished Nishura's names and official stats and it's 20 characters.
-And I still have the Musashino, Mihoshi, and Tosei teams to go. ~_~ Still debating how much into the teams' scores and baseball stuff I wanna get into...
But! The upside is that maybe can ask the comms to volunteer fanart for the profiles! \o/ So I don't have to draw them! Yay!
... annnnnnndddddd... We still have 10 fics on our plate that all want to be done -now-. >P
For Megs: Online Japanese/English Dictonary
Also, Banned LJ Interest Terms.
-Good idea in theory, poooooooorly done execution. On the plus side, depending on who you're talking to, 'Spice Girls' is one of the blocked interests! XD
And for those who have been following Ellen Brand's wonderful DC ficcage, they have discovered why the Hope Diamond glows red.

The one idea I have to fix that would involve using a dictionary and actually having the definition of each word analyzed. That would handle some of the words. I have not idea what to do about slang.
Oooo, glowy. I think I heard about that somewhere before. I wonder where?

Date: 2008-01-10 07:51 am (UTC)Somehow, it's the 'Baby Grapes' that continue to amuse me. I don't know why someone would WANT that as an interest, but dammit, people should have the ability do have that as their interest if they want it!
The Hope Diamond is mentioned in
... and I've got a cat asleep on top of me. No reason, just random. ^___^

Date: 2008-01-10 01:00 pm (UTC)I've eaten grapes that could be considered 'baby grapes.' I don't see the interest either but one of mine is pencils and I'm sure that could be used as a euphamism for something.
Ah, I knew I read it somewhere.
Kitty! (I just had the image of Al calling Kid, Kitty. >.> )
