Weekend Retort

ickaimp*rubs eyes* Well, it's been an interesting few days. Kinda in that 'Old Chinese Curse' way.
Friday, I the stomach bug that's been going around. Icka!'s stomach vs Mac & Cheese. The Mac won. >P
Saterday! Worked my other job selling china and crystal at the Phoenix Bridal Show. @_@ Up at 4am to get to Phoenix by 7. Didn't quite work, evidently the Bridal Show site's link on googlemaps goes to the wrong address. >_> Whoops. Ysabet drove Sean and I up there, it was their first time working it. Think they had a good time. It was Huuuuge show. Was still feeling queasy, got the low blood sugar dizzies, but was afraid to eat incase it came back up. >_> Ended up doing quick run arounds, grabbing candy and food samples from other booths and that worked to keep me going without passing out or barfing, so victory all round.
Had fun spotting various trends, there were a handful of couples that the woman wrote the 'Groom' sticker and the man wore the 'Bride' sticker. XD Lotta good food and friendly people.
... unfortunately forgot to tell John that Sean and I wouldn't need to be picked up for archery... Whoops... ^^;;
Crashed with Anna and Minion, who were kind enough to open the two back rooms of their house to us to sleep. ^__^ I got to sleep in a closet again! Yay!
Sunday, same as the first! Worked a different booth this time, closer to the entrance. So busy~! But it was fun. Talked to a lady who was wearing a solid jade bracelet that she's worn for 9 years, her hand has grown so she can't take it off! XD And a neat lady from Canada. ^__^
Also ran into some ladies with really neat large hats, so I jumped them to complement them on it while doing a sugar run. Later on, after guarding a spot where Orion had demonstrated that a crystal glass will bounce many times off the floor but not -every- time and it shattered after previously successfully bouncing, they jumped me in order to recruit me! Turns out they're part of the Arizona Corsairs. XD
-I signed up for that today. \o/ Yaaaaarrrrrrrrrr. >D
Working these shows are fun, but man are they exhausting. ~_~
And today, we have grumpy liquid-poopy baby. M'tired.

The beads I wear on the left wrist have been there for prolly about 10 years, I just have to replace the string every few years, when it stretches out far enough that it does slide off.
