Hate cities. Hate 'em hate 'em hate 'em. Nyah.

Made it to San Fran in one piece. Got a little lost on the way to the hotel, but that's about par.

We'd done some searching for a hotel before we came, under the $50 limit, and discovered that there was... nothing. So we checked hostels. Found the Saint Paul Hotel. It's an interesting place, they're in the process of renovations to remove the lead paint from the historical building.

-which means we get all most the entire floor to ourselves! Whoo-hoo!

The blurb says that it's 'next to Chinatown'. Nope. It's IN Chinatown. *cheers*

Checked in and wandered down to the Kinokuya in San Fran's Little Tokyo. Scary thing? I haven't been there in three years, came from a different direction and I STILL could find it! \o/ Go go direction sense!

Didn't really find anything I wanted in the comic department, but I did get a new 0.3 pencil. *purrrs* Actually did some drawing today, mostly cleaning up and inking older pics. OMG! We're drawing!!! *does happy dances*

-Also introduced 'Neechan to YGO: the Abridged Series. Ha-hah. Think the Joey = Furry jokes broke her.

Have to have the car out of the lot by 8am, so heading to bed early.

Tomorrow is the Winchester Mystery House and hanging out with Po'e and the bratling! Then back to Tucson in a few days!

*big sparkly chibi eyes* See if Po'e ever tried to send out that Peacock board from when we were on The Trip? It was in her garage last time I checked.

Glad to see you're still spreading the crack!

Hey, TUCSON's a city, you know... Okay, granted, it's more like a humongous lot of space with a city streeeeeeeeeeeeetched out across it... with cacti... and coyotes and hawks and rabbits... and, uh, okay. A different type of city.

Glad you're doing okay and having a good time; man, your hotel room could be a carbon-copy, size and all, of the one I had in NY (except that mine was furnished a la Addams Family) but the price on yours is about 1/3 of mine. **sigh** Looks like a seriously neat place, though. And CHINATOWN! **makes squeeing noises** If you see Count D, give him my love, okay?

Yay for San Francisco Chinatown! DIM SUM!

Er... Sorry. If I had the power of teleportation I'd be even fatter than I am now.

Have fun out there!

Earthquake off the coast of NZ: http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/asiapcf/12/20/newzealand.quake/index.html?iref=mpstoryview

I've never been to Tuscon, so I can't say if it is a city or not. Relative to the state, perhaps?

There's an awesome teahouse in Chinatown that you should check out.

They do a "free" tasting. Free meaning that if you want to tip they would like it a lot.

Beware: the first tea that they give you tatstes like dirty gym socks that have strained vinegar. Apparently it's good for making the bowels move. If you can suffer thru that glass you get to start drinking the good stuff! :)
