-Okay, the crowd was to hide the nets from the Kid, but if the Kid made a ground approach, he should have noticed. Also, I'd expect people to be panicking. The phrase 'shooting ducks in a barrel' comes to mind. If Snake's around, he's got a perfect opportunity.

I really don't think so XDD Kid should get all of the highlights since the press got to get up close and personal with him. And yes, I do wonder how he manages to keep his face obscured even when they're so close (you notice that all the footage the TV crew gets never really shows his upper-face?).

AND SPEAKING OF SNAKE. DON'T YOU THINK THIS WOULD BE AN AWSUM TIME IN CANON FOR SNAKE TO SHOW UP AND FOR CONAN TO GET INVOLVED WITH KID'S ISSUES, EVEN FOR A LITTLE BIT?

Think I've been watching too much CSI-stuff with the cgi facial re-construction techniques, which makes me wonder just how much face he can safely show without someone figuring out what he looks like via some computer magic.

*snerk* Well, it is a tad obsessive, but for me, it's just more fun that I can use in the way of ficcage if I so choose. Plus, it fits with my idea of Kaito not having well-fitting shoes because they had a former owner and he's still a growing boy and all.

Well, actually, with the monocle hiding the right side of his face and the brim of his hat + his hair hiding the other side, it's actually quite difficult to get any good renderings, I would say. They could definitely get the lower part of his face and determine 1) his ethnic decent, 2) his age, and 3) probably something else I can't think of at the moment. But with only that much, coupled with the bloodtype that Hakuba's determined from hair samples and those other small details (aprox. height, weight, and IQ), it still groups Kaito with about 20% of Japan, at least.

Really, though, hats and glasses tend to mess with people's persceptions of the shape of a person's head and face. But I still might be COMPLETELY wrong. Hm...

That's IF Snake is by himself. Which I highly doubt, really. He has to at least have someone with him as back-up.

Haha. I don't think it's obsessive. But then again I'm a former costume designer so I immediately notice changes like that. Also I look at the art pretty carefully whenever I start drawing characters from a series...

The lace-up s hoes are impractical really, the loafers made sense for doing outfit quick-changes, as changing the shoes is the hardest part.

Changed 28th JP time to go with release of SS issue 52 (Sam Curt post) no doubt... at least the movie page URL doesn't change... makes it easy to edit my movie page. :)

Hiro 1 in CA is a Conan fan so hope (pray) he'll get back to me "soonish" but being a guy, doubt he'll do word for word.

Meanwhile I only have 1.5 years worth of the manga and anime to catch up on (repeated headdesk).
