The joys of childcare.

I just saw a poopie being... um... born created pooped.
Twice.
It was like the never ending poopie.
And it was GREEN.
And it was just so gross I had to share. ^____^
*whistles innocently and wanders off*

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to the multitude of colours that solid foods and juice will bring...

Date: 2007-11-08 12:03 am (UTC)*shrugs* And even if I don't have kids, it's good experience. I'm certainly learning new things every day! ^__^ And I like helping to take care of people.

Date: 2007-11-07 11:33 pm (UTC)We get the green variants because he's formula fed... it various from something that looks like hard spinach/artichoke dip to a off-yellow stinky puree. Fortunately, this was in the middle, so it's not so bad.
It'll get worse when Xan gets old enough to eat solid food. @_@

Date: 2007-11-08 04:31 am (UTC)That black poo is call meconium and it's the gunk that they get in their system while they are in utero... it's normally gone a few days after birth.
But yeah, the joy of babies fed on breast milk is that "their shit don't stink". Poos from breast milk have a faint and almost sweet smell and seeing as we are using disposable nappies (while he's this little the cloth nappies we have are just TOO big) it's really handy being able to chuck a spent nappy in a plastic rubbish bag by the side of the bed and just go to sleep and not worry about it stinking out the room. *giggle*
Sleep is the coolest thing ever.. don't ever knock it. ^_^
