Mim-kitty went into surgery today. She made it through well and will spend the next two weeks over at Gramma's house, recuperating.
-She swallowed two shoelaces and a hair band. *runs around collecting hairbands and hides them*
The hairband makes sense. Since no one here has shoes with laces, that remains a mystery.
The other two cats are kinda clingy now. *pets*

In other news, been having fun introducing/addicting people to DC/MK. There's some questions posted over on the D_C community about what fics people recommend for getting newbies into the series.
... actually, has been interesting to see the recs. There's a lot of good fics out there I haven't had the pleasure of reading yet. *wiggles happily*
and I should prolly update to ff.net more often... ~_~

And I've been trying to write/post something every day for NaNoWriMo, but it doesn't look like that's happening tonight.

Hope your kitty gets well soon. I wonder how long the shoelaces might've been in her. Maybe they are something she ate a while ago and they lately became agravated?

I guess I could recommend Orla and Jaelle. Their fan fiction was one of the reasons I got interested in DC in the first place.

Yeah, Orla and Jaelle rock. >D Magical Girl Ran was the first DC comedy fic I read, and has left the lasting impression that Heiji is a Westerns fan.

Did anyone's shoelaces disappear when they visited once? Where did they come from? That's the real mystery.

They definitely have some sidesplitting hilarious stories (thinks back to the Sailor Moon fics that hooked her to fan fiction).

Ouch...my Comet plays almost exclusively with hairbands, but I've never known her to eat them! Hope the Mim-kitty gets better soon!
