Well... it's been an interesting weekend.

Saterday:

... So evidently, 'Harley Hartwell' (Heiji's dub name) is from Canada. -scroll down to the last line of the 'trivia' section.

Harley: "And in the distance is Ottawa Castle!! Isn't Canada GREAT?!"

-And of course our f-list is MUCH too creative to automatically start singing South Park songs, AREN'T THEY? *Fanged Grin*

Also went back to 4th street to pick up another beaded barrette, which I seem to be addicted to lately, and wander around. And then went and watched Zombie Loan with a bunch of friends. ^____^ It was a good day.

Today:

Went to taranos and avilina's house to watch Heroes, which neither Ysabet or I had seen before. We watched the first five episodes.
... whoa. Gooooood. Will have to poke around tomorrow and see what kind of fics the fandom has come up with.
Oooo... sam_storyteller has one... Hee. ^___^

Also, does anyone know what 'Hyuuuuu~' means?

Only character that I know of who goes "Hyuuu~" is Fye D.Flowright from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles when he's pretending to whistle.

Is probably just some trend thought of as cute to put "hyuuuu" when you have nothing else to say. *sigh* Though I can talk, I go "Pyuuu" isntead of "Hi" alot. XD;;

So a few friends came over yesterday, and one of them brought Heroes. Fangirling resulted from several people, and I had never seen the series.

Six episodes later and we (this may result in spoilerage if you get the joke) and we figured out what Peter's power is. And now they start whistling the Spongebob theme whenever he comes on-screen. With mildly ad-libbed lyrics to fit the setting.

I have really strange friends.

I figured out what Peter's power was after the second time he used it. #^^#
And then drove people nuts by correctly guessing what DL's power was when he appeared in Niki's house, based off of a snippet of a scene from the opening of the first episode. XD Yay for graphic memory!

And Massive Yay for strange friends! ... and all things they get us addicted to!

and for the record, everytime I watched an american version, i never once heard 'Harley' say 'eh.'
