Heh heh... as a fellow worker in the Mental Health Care world, I can commiserate. I had 16 autopsy reports to deal with today-- 16, I swear. o__O Most of 'em were patients that'd croaked through heart attacks and other natural causes (MH clients tend to be on the fragile side), but two were suicides and one died from 'complications of obesity', which I've never seen listed before. veeeeeery weird.
Hope you had a good one! (And not too many loonies, unless you joined them and had fun, in which case, yay :p) If it's Beltane over there I'm not entirely sure what that makes it over here, I should know this *sheepish*
*blinks* What's Beltane? I've heard the term before in this Tamora Pierce novel I was reading. But what does it mean? Full moon? *acks* I'm glad i'm inside right now! I don't fancy running in a werewolf... *grins* Loving your Kid icon!
Also called "May Day", Beltane is a Celtic festival featuring things like the Maypole and May Queen. The practices still exist in various parts of Europe, and the day's been adopted by Wiccans.
...though you should keep in mind that a lot of the rumors you hear about us Wiccans are totally scurrilious; we don't REALLY dance around naked in the moonlight, unless there's a pizza in it for us afterwards. Then, of course, all bets are off. ^__^ Hope y'all had a great Beltane!
