ickaimpHad a blast up in the High Desert. Love just hanging around with people. Or on people. Y'know. Whatever. ~_^
New trick this time: Learned the proper way of binding someone's hands with rope. ^^;; *laughs*
Took Shingo and 'Neechan to Gaja Okonomiyaki and we tried how to make/eat Okonomiyaki the Tokyo-style or Monja way. (they bring the ingredients out, and you cook your food on the teppen plate built into the table). Little bit different than the Osaka style we're used to. Monja way is kinda like a grilled cabbage porrige. You eat it right off the grill with these little mini-spatulas instead of cutting it up and putting it on your plate. Is good, but think we like the Osaka style a little bit better.
But this is definately one way to play with your food!
Next time wanna try Yaki-soba or the crepes... I miss crepes.
Ann, will definately need to talk to you later, looks like we're going to Japan over Christmas. Any suggestions?
Oh! Also got Detective Conan pt 3 anime. Kid's going after the Black Pearl! *happy dance!*
Anyway, got some sketching done, so tomorrow will prolly have another Art Day. Crashing now, just waiting for laundry to finish so we can sleep off this headache. G'night all! ^__^

So you got season 3? Aaack! Just copied it for you! Oh well, can give it to Morgan-- was gonna copy it for her too. I love the Black Pearl eps; that look on the disguised KK's face when Conan destroys the phone right next to his head with a soccer-ball is PRICELESS. And the matching one a couple of minutes later on *Conan's* face, when KK pulls out his bra..... **snerk**

'Black Pearl', I think I'm calling it the wrong name, but it keeps giving me Pirates of the Carribean flashbacks and makes me wanna post that one pirates fic I was working on in Chat.

There aren't any cacti in the High Desert. Is very strange, makes me feel weird. Desert SHOULD have catci!!! >_<
Um... not really planning on throwing any bondage or kinky stuff into my next couple fics, thanks. ^^;; I was mainly the practice dummy for wrist tieing.
... this makes the second time I've been tied up there. First time I sat around watching Star Ocean EX while wearing fuzzy leather ankle and wrist binders. *shrugs* They were comfortable and I could slide my hands out at any time. Made for some fun double takes!! ^__^
If you ever get out to my area, I'll take you to Gaja. They're really friendly there and the food is EXCELLENT!!!

Date: 2003-09-22 08:02 pm (UTC)Yeah, I vaguely recall you mentioning something regarding season 3 now; don't mind me, I'm brain-fuzzed after this weekend. It *was* fun, with the exception of occasionally running across my Evil Ex. I think that if I could get past hating the bastard my world would be a much nicer place to live in, but it's hard to get words like "betrayal" and "lied" out of the way. Don't like hating people; it makes your soul wrinkle. As for the weekend, I saw tons of people that I was glad to see again, collected a large set of hugs and backrubs (:D) and had a good time in general. Slept away an awful lot of Sunday due to a head-and-neckache, so I'm wide awake today, which is nice.
Not gonna dwell on mental image of Icka being forced to watch Star Ocean EX; just not. Very strange.....
Gaja sounds good, and they've got a nice website too. Heh; don't tempt me! Would LOVE to get out that way-- so many things I've never been to in your region, like the La Brea Tar Pits. For some reason I've always wanted to see those...
