1. Leave a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I'll respond by asking you a couple of personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
-Will do the first five people, cause we're gearing up for War and won't be online much. ^^;;
1. What was the best and worst things about living in New Zealand?
Argh... I've been stuck on this one for a while.
Worst:
People talking to me -despite- the fact that I was American. And announcing it. Loudly. Constantly. I.E. "I don't like Americans in general, but you seem okay."
Being so far away from friends in Tucson.
Not being able to find a comfortable 0.3 mechanical pencil. And being able to find the lead. Is a minor thing, but was an annoyance.
Books being expensive.
Best:
FOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDD. Food tastes so much better, can taste the lack of chemicals, the fact it's fresher and the differences in the oil used to fry foods. Being able to buy local venison definite plus.
Cultural Mindset. Kiwis tend to have a very Holistic approach to their worldview, is very close to my own. New Zealand is isolated physically, America is so very isolated mentally.
Language. Even if I never got the accent right. >P (now I talk funny here)
Friends. Pubs. Tea.
C4. (Channel Four) -a public music television station. Music Videos. *purrrrrrrs*
2. If you were recruited with Carte Blanche to write a manga what would it be of? Either original or Fanfic is fine
Something naturally supernatural. The 'Supernatural' presented as if it wasn't 'super', but just 'natural'. Cause it is.
3. Paper or plastic and why.
Plastic. We re-use it more often for various stuff. Tying up my hair while hennaing it, carrying things, the cats sleep in it, pooper scooper bags, and it can be used to stuff archery target butts.
4. Seriously, what the heck is the deal with characters in manga speaking German?
It's probably as far vocally, visually and socially away from Japanese as you can get. The exotic 'other'.
5. Are you going to Estrella this week and if not would like to get together one day and bum around?
Yes and we'd love to. Tomorrow good? We're heading out early on Thursday. ^____^
[Edit: Conan vs Kid!!! ....Why is Kid Pink?... o_0]

Translations Via Nifty:
Date: 2007-02-14 02:05 am (UTC)-So it looks like you get a ticket in the manga that you send in to get put into a lottery for either a Kid nano (postmarked between
Fri., February 16, 2007 to Sat., March 31, 2007) or a Conan nano (postmared between Thurs., April 5, 2007 to Thurs., May 31, 2007)
They are also listing two Detective Conan Games coming out soon for the Nintendo systems, "Detective Trainer" for the DS and someting 'Fantasy Recollection (Mirage)' for the Wii.
The name tags can have your name stamped on them, that's what they're saying with the 'Kuroba Kaito' written on them. There are some other random stuff --belts and things-- listed below that.
Not sure if the nintendo games and the tags are prizes for the people who don't win the Nanos or what. ^^;;
