Before YGO: Duel Monsters, the dub everyone's familiar with, there was Yu-Gi-Oh!, which had very little to do with the card game except when Green-Haired!Kaiba was trying to get his penispride back after Yuugi stole it from him in a children's card game.

What is -actually- going on is Yuugi shows up at the arcade to play the new game he heard was out today. After he can't find it, an employee tells Yuugi that he can show him where the new game is... it's in the back room and Yuugi'll be the first to play it.
Yuugi, the sweet innocent boy that he is, follows the nice man into the back room, out a door and gets shoved into a limo. Where he's bent over and pinned to the back seat. The 'employee' rips his mask off and it's actually Kaiba Seto, who leers at Yuugi and wants to play a game.
