ickaimpSWEAR that some of the Kami-sama are laughing at me.
Have now been in the desert for a month. Finally adapted to walking around in the Autumn heat. (80/90f ~ 26/33c during the day)
And suddenly, it's now the temperatures it was in Christchurch a few weeks before I left. (30f/0c at night, 54f/12c during the day)
... I miss my trench. *sulks* *plots fiendish plots to go to Los Angeles and get it*

[Edit 2: Random Story. While walking the kids home from school in the afternoons, there's a house that has one of those inflateable character thingies in their yards.
This particular one has Tigger, who is sitting behind Pooh, his arms kinda on Pooh's shoulders. Pooh's grinning, his hands reaching out. In front of Pooh is Eeyore, who's got his head down and his tail up in the air.
When the wind blows, they all bounce up and down, happily colliding back and forth into each other. Ye-ah. You get the picture.
... It's not until you get close that it's apparent that Tigger and Pooh are supposed to be sitting on a sleigh that Eeyore is pulling, instead of a giant cartoon orgy...]
[Edit 3: Okay, I know I have big boobs. Huuuuge tracks of land that generally double as bumpers and a catshelf. But when a cat hops up on my lap and starts licking the -underside- of said catshelf, where I can't see, it -really- makes me paranoid.... @_@;;]
