So I went to pick up the boys from school today and was carrying my sketchbook in my head, on top of my hat.

... first I was asked what it was.
Then I had to prove that it was a sketchbook. *Icka frantically scrabbles through the sketchbook to the non-tentacle, yaoi or nudie pics*
Then I had to prove that it wasn't fastened to my hat.
And that I could balance it up there without the hat.
Or that it really was my hair.
Then was asked if I was holding there by hair spray.
Or static electricty.
Or magnets.

Um... nope. I just stick the book on top of my head and walk, scuttle, nod, kneel, shake my head, climb stairs, talk or what ever else I need to do.
S'not a big deal. ^^;; But tell THAT to a bunch of elementary school kids... @_@;;

Sounds like my plushie problem... ^^; Last year, I was still walking around balancing plushies on my head (atop my hat) and ppl on the street stopped me and asked me if it was sewn to my hat. ^^;;; We have to normalize balancing act, I swear.

*gasp* Another person who has the same ability for balancing as me! Personally, I prefer to balance packages but I do the same with a book or two.

You're right, though, it really isn't that big of a deal.
