Ha-hah!!! MOrgan-obachan has a squeaky hedgehog on her head!!! *giggles madly*

What's a good 'professional' sounding term for 'Temp'?
"Convient Replacement Specialist" sounds too much like what an assassin would do...

US makes Vegemite an illegal substance, Vegemite smuggling?

I'm not spamming, just noticed this addition and had to check it out as it reminded me of an old I Love Lucy episode.

If I understand it, Vegemite is a vitamin enriched...spread?

..and we've banned it? We are very, very bizarre as a country.

I wonder what Vegemite tastes like though...

Vegemite, looks like chocolate or engine grease and tastes like nothing else on Earth. It's made from yeast, and has a sharply savoury taste that's difficult to describe. Extremely nutritious, vegetarian-friendly and not actually banned after all (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10407668)...

*blink* huhn, okay, I was thinking it was some kind of vegetable spread, but that has to be marmite with a description like that. Not that I ate it if I could avoid it, but it's also in South Africa then :)

Yep, it's functionally identical to Marmite, which I actually prefer =)

Blargh, I'm not fond of either. ^^;; Prefer my sweets instead of savouries.

Hmmm... how does it taste? If you like really, really sharp-and-moldy cheeses like stilton you might like it. It has a STRONG taste. I'm fond of strongly-flavored things, so I don't think it's bad, but I have to admit that it's sort of something you have to get used to. Try it if you can; how many times as an adult do you get to try a totally new flavor, after all?

Personally, I can't stand stilton, but I absolutely ADORE Marmite.

Have never tried Vegemite though. Always just kind of assumed they would taste pretty much the same.

^__^ I'm a stilton fan, me, but I tend to go for strongly-flavored stuff, like smoked oysters and so forth. But hey, to each their own. Just don't anybody try to make me eat beets and nobody'll get hurt...

I have to ask: WHAT is the critter in your icon? Looks sort of like a pink wallaby made of marzipane... **scratches head** Or a hand-puppet... or.... I dunno; am curious. ???
