Response: The prequel to Sailor Moon, 'Codename wa Sailor V' came out in 1991. Magic Kaito was first released in 1987. The Kaitou Kid does not look like Tuxedo Mask, Tuxedo Mask looks like the Kaitou Kid.
There is also a 'Kaitou Jade', a Kid Clone in a BL game 24-ji, Kimi no Heart wa Nusumareru ~Kaitou Jade~, and several Kid-type clones running around in episode four of Sukisho.
Please note that the last two references are Boy/Boy. ^____^

However, the Japanese Wikipedia entry on Magic Kaito says that Kid discovered who Conan really was during the Third Movie, The Last Wizard of the Century' while listening to a phone conversation between Conan and Agasa, when Agasa calls Shin'ichi 'Kudo'.
